GRESHAM ENTERPRISE STORAGE GEARS UP TO STRENGTHEN SALES IN EUROPE, THE MIDDLE EAST, AND AFRICA
Industry Expert Bob Watson Appointed Storage Sales Director of EMEA
London, 17 October 2007 – Gresham Enterprise Storage, the leading developer of data protection solutions with vision, has appointed Bob Watson as Storage Sales Director of EMEA based in London. In this newly created position, Watson will be responsible for increasing market penetration in Europe, the Middle East and Africa by building an integrated sales and reseller partnerships program for Gresham Enterprise Storage aimed at enterprise-level IT accounts looking to reduce storage cost.
Watson joins Gresham Enterprise Storage as a 35 year IT veteran who, most recently, consulted for United States startups within EMEA in the fields of Wide Area File Services and Network Attached Storage. Prior to that, he spent 20 years with Hitachi Data Systems where he held the position of Senior Vice President of Sales, and doubled revenues to $607 million in four years.
